The Eagle Ale House has had more than 7000 guest beers in the last twelve years; too many to list here, but below is a selection of our popular regulars.
Surrey Hills Shere Drop 4.2% | ” Pale in colour with a subtle hint of grapefruit and lemon in the aroma. The wonderful hop bitterness is complemented by a balanced malt flavour. The beer has a long finish, which is moderately dry.” |
Belleville Northcote Blonde 4.2% | “Crisp and fruity, golden and scintillating. This ale thinks it’s a lager and with liberty hops from the US and Saaz from the Czech Republic; it delights and confounds in equal amounts.” |
Downton Quadhop 3.9% | “Pale in colour with four varieties of hops. Challenger, East Kent Goldings, Pioneer, and Styrian Goldings provide a full range of floral and citrus aromas, and a moreish bitterness that drinks superbly down the glass.” |
Clarence & Frederick’s Best Bitter 4.1% | “A balanced aroma from three hops and four malt varieties. Brewed without the stalwart of crystal malt to create a unique sharp bitterness which develops into a spicy bitter aftertaste.” |
We also sell “Lovely, lovely Lager” (Mr. R.A.Eve. Surrey.). |
